Sustainability

The Clayton County Water Authority (CCWA) is recognized throughout the world for its sustainability practices; named one of the “Top Water Wise Communities” in the U.S. and a “Utility of the Future Today” by industry peers. CCWA reuses 80% of all the wastewater it collects using both natural systems like their 500 acres of treatment wetlands and advanced treatment systems such as ultraviolet light for disinfection.
